Default WANTED - Eos 155TSI / 147TSI, Australia (NSW/ACT)

I'm in the market for a used Eos. I'd appreciate any recommendations for what other members might deem to be decent cars, or even dealerships worth having a look at.

I'm not that fussy about bluetooth or cosmetic condition. Car just needs to be fun, reliable and with no nasty surprises (leaks, malfunctions etc).

I have my eye on a few car sites and am willing to spend up to AUD$15k cash.

Links/recommendations appreciated.

IMHO I wouldn't touch the early 1.4 twin pump engine (pre 2013) as there are so many issues and the DSG fitted to said same engine suffered with clutch problems which are well documented on all the VW forums. Pre 09 cars had roof seal problems and FSI engines could have high oil consumption problems, other than that fill your boots lol. To try and cut down on future problems go for an EOS with good service history and that looks like it's been cared for hope this helps.

Mick

Neither of those will be an issue, VWA in their wisdom only imported 2 litre powered Eos to Australia so no troublesome 1.4 twincharger and DQ200 issues here for Eos owners.

Cheers

George

Yay. Thanks. Reassuring to hear. I've picked myself up a 147tsi and so far, so good. It's a good ride.
