Hi guys: I am located just outside of Toronto Canada
I have owned an 03 TDI jetta and 06TDI jetta
Went into the VW dealership to pick out the colour and put my name on one of the incoming 09 TDI Jettas
The 2008 EOS Candy White with comfortline accessories lead me to trade in my "paid out" 06 TDI and now running a 2.0Turbo gas jobby.
On average 7.8litre/100KM
I am having the same treatment done to the EOS that was done to both of my diesels
UPSOLUTE Chip............240HP, 267lb ft............driven gently , the added torque will increase your economy, IT DID in my TDIs...........driven agressively does one thing only " lead to torque addiction". If you have never had this type of "cheap" upgrade, you wont believe it.
If anyone is close to Toronto and has a 2.oturbo, and wants to try mine once it is chipped,...........have at it.

I just got a Candy White EOS too. Where did you get the Upsolute chip? How much$? Did you install it yourself? Does it void the warranty?
I am quite sure that the chip doesn't only work on "Candy White" paint.

For those of us with other hues - please provide more detail :D :D

Hi there - geoffa1, do you mean you want to buy a chip to match the color of your car? All you have to do is go get one in the nearest supermarket...It's call a Potato Chip for you - Mr.Potato Head.

Is this meant to be funny  - if so, please use one of the emoticons to show this.

Otherwise, this comment may be seen as an insult to geoffa1.

"Potato Head" ??? - I am hurt.

No seriously, I was trying to work out if the chip was for diesel or petrol, 'cos the descriptions of the cars you were discussing covered the color, but there were so many drive trains discussed, I couldn't work out the fuel type.

I did put in some funny faces to show the comment about the color was tongue in cheek - sorry if this wasn't evident.

For those who read my posts, the tongue is often firmly planted in the cheek, with pearls of wisdom peeking through.
