Somebody on here has 20" wheels and he posted a pic a few weeks ago. I will probably get flamed for this, but IMHO, they look slightly silly...

It's all a matter of personal taste. That said, I would tend to agree with you. I saw the picture and thought it a little OTT.

Maxscience... Do you have 19inch wheels and know they spoil the ride or do you just think they would. Because that is what I was wondering. I'd love to hear from someone who has 19's to get their honest opinion. I'm thinking of running the TSW Sakata 5's 19in with Toyo Proxes 4.

Bro...cabrios has weaker overall structure, sports suspension + ultralow profiles will further enhance this weakness...

Not only handling and comfort is sacrificed, u'll have to bear wif more serious creeks esp when the body flexs...

19" wheels on the EOS

I have fitted 19" wheels to the rear of my EOS. Now don't shoot me down but I love the larger rear wheel look (Yes, I know on a FWD). Anyhow, I got some Moda wheels from Tirerack.com, a very useful & helpful site. 18 x 8 x 45 for the front and 19 x 8.5 x 45 for the rear. I would have liked a larger offset for the rear, but couldn't find any. The fronts were a doddle (OE size & offset), but I also wanted wider tyres on the rear, and the EOS rear suspension puts the OE wheels right out at the limit. And I also wanted to lower the car and try to get the "Bum up in the air" look out of it. Lowering turns the rear camber to junk. The OE rear camber is -1.6 deg. This goes to in excess of 3 degrees neg when you try to lower it. being a bloke who loves a challenge, several suspension components and lots of cash later, I have managed to get 255/35/19s under the rear with suitable camber and lowered 40 mm (rear). With the front lowered 25 mm it looks great (well I think so anyway). And it rides well.
If anyone wants more details on the rear susp mods, please let me know.

Anyone have a set of 19inch wheels and tires? If so what brand and sizes for both? How is the ride quality? Let's see some pics

I have 18 & 19 Moda MD1 wheels with Pirelli PZero Rosso tyres on my EOS.
The fronts are OE (Sport) size 18 x 8 x 45. with 235/40/18s.
The rears are 19 x 8.5 x 45 with 255/35/19s.
The Pirellis are terrific, they ride more quietly and are softer than the OE Contis. They're also a bit cheaper. I love 'em.

I had lots of trouble getting the 19s under the rear end, and had to make significant mods to the rear suspension, so tread carefully and measure well before you commit your cash.

Good luck.

People told me that 19s would look over the top and would ruin the smooth ride.. well they were wrong.
My Audi R8 V10 19s look fine.. actually wouldn't mind putting 20s on it. I have 245/35 all round and they don't rub or anything. I love em.

WOW, those do look very nice indeed! Where did you source those wheels? Are they OEM or Replica wheels? The do look great on the Eos and I am looking for something similar for mine as well, but in an 18" version.
