I bought new wheels and tyres for my EOS two weeks ago, and was thinking along the same idea as you by going for 19s or 20s...
I was warned they would ruin the comfort and ride quality and I would end up hating the car, so went for 18" instead. (They didn't have to tell me either, as the larger wheels were a lot more money).
