Hi Everyone,

I recently had a high pressure pump fail on my FSI and the shop replaced the pump twice due to surging on acceleration.

They don't seem to know what to do any longer and said that it is most likely electrical gremlins.

Any thoughts on what could be happening here?

A V.W shop should know what to do? They have their own diagnostics kit, trained people (hopefully) and can get advice or information from their Mothership which has a huge database of faults to go on.

An electrical Gremlin is something a technician cannot find, understand, or resolve when they reach the limit of their knowledge and don't fully understand the symptoms, problem, or know what to do next.
