is there a way of finding out what changes are expected for the 2008 model in the UK. I'm looking to order at the end of September for a March delivery.
Not to my knowledge but I don't think these options will be too far off from the above posted listing, if at all. That is solely based on my opinion though. :)

Thanks for the reply but you will find there is a vast difference in what is standard on your side of the pond compared to ours. It isn't the end of the world but would be nice to see what comes as standard, or any new options. I'm very surprised that Bluetooth isn't an option on such a new car given the laws here in the UK.

Bluetooth

There is a way to integrate a Bluetooth handsfree car kit and use the steering wheel controls - perfectly possible.
If you do not need the steering wheel interface, can also have a Bluetooth handsfree with audio streaming for an iPod via Bluetooth.

The US 08 Eos web site is interesting for what they dropped - it seems that VW USA decided that most US buyers did not want the standard better handling European suspension setup which was sold as the "sport" suspension in the US.

Personally I am glad I got an 07 Eos with the sport suspension setup - guess I am not VW USA's 08 target Eos customer.

Anyway, I am sure the after market will come to the rescue and sell suspension upgrade kits for the USA 08 Eos in due time.

I does seem strange that they don't take advantage of the Parrot / Audiocom bluetooth solution and made that available for sale on USA Eos - the retail cost of the parts is less than $300 - I would think factory integrated their cost would be under $150 and they could sell at a huge profit for around $400. Guess maybe they are trying keep a few things exclusive to the Audi line to justify the higher prices vs. VW line.

There does seem to be slight differences in the '08 build that will be available here in Australia.
-It seems Paprika Red exterior color was deleted from the ' 08 build range & replaced with an absolute horror color.."Samoa Red..." it is putrid to say the very least!
-the inclusion of auto dipping exterior mirror when you reverse-cool feature;
-MP3 stereo compatibility in the different model for '08;

We seem to have somewhat of a different model flavor here, eg: if you order the 2.0T DSG Auto, you wind up with a Sports\Luxury mix.
(I think Sydeos has mentioned this too in his posts in this forum)
