Hello,
I have had this EOS for several years, and about once a quarter I get an intermittent misfire code. I have replace the plugs and coils, but it hasn't impacted the code.

Today I had a bigger issue with multiple codes and the EPC light came on. I think it may be time for an intake cleaning to remove carbon based on my forum searches, but I would be keen to get a broader opinion.

My wife was driving the car and shut it down when the EPC light came on. I came in about 20 minutes later, scanned the codes, started it up and drove home with no check engine/EPC lights.

The log is attached, thanks in advance for your opinion.

Maybe my logic is wrong but you have multiple random misfires (not one cylinder), you have replaced all the coils and one fuel rail pressure fault. Engines need spark, air and fuel to run so wouldn't you start looking at your fuel system first? :confused:

I would search the reported P0088 error, fix it, then check again for misfires.

I'm curious about the high fuel pressure thing, too. That's odd.

Clear the codes and post another scan. And fix your time/date. Autoscan shows all these things happening 5 years ago!

Hi

All good advise. Try a compression test to check overall condition of the engine . Suspect your on the right track with inlet clean. Also worth a try is to get a bora scope to check the condition of the inlet valve . I have tried some erg cleaner sprayed in to the inlet via the temp port and also tested the inlet flap motor via vcds to get rid of a miss fire
