How exciting , picking up car on Wednesday, I just cannot wait, it had better be sunny, will drive home with top down even if its raining! I have a leaving party to go to Wednesday nite and my colleagues cannot understand why I wanna go out driving and not be with them. What would you do ???!!!
I just want to drive around!!!!!
Still scared about parking near anyone, I will be right at the top of all multi storey car parks now! and pay the car wash men to look after it !!!!!
Actually feel stressed about it getting dented or scratched, is this normal? Or do I need help ??!!!!

yes you arnt the only one scared to park it i park where no other car are im scared to leave roof down and pop in shop incase some one whose slightly jealous throws a ciggie in the car still alight, plenty more worries too numerous to mention but i still love it

I always leave mine right at the far end of Sainsbury's car park where there are no other cars. Funny thing is, when I come back to it there's always another car either side of it.. I reckon cars are just social creatures and they don't like parking alone!

I'm also just days away from the delivery of my EOS. Ordered Thunder Blue with Titan Black leather - Sport Pkg w/ Nav & i-Pod, 6-speed manual, 18" Samarkand wheels. The sales manager at my local VW dealer said we're looking at a May 1st delivery date. It's been a long wait (ordered on January 8th) but I know it'll be worth the wait.

Thank you Paul, Did yours arrive at the dealers today ?? Maybe they were on the same boat??! As mine only arrived at the dealers today, from Sheerness. Let me know when you ar picking yours up , I'm going at 4pm tomorrow!

Glad everyone has the same concerns as me! Yes dont think I will ever park and leave the roof down.
Also dreading some sad person scratching the side, just know someone will.
Will be forever calling scratch repair man out !!
Hope its a sunny weekend, I am driving home with the roof down tomorrow whatever the weather!!!!!

Absolutely normal behavoir!

I have become one of those evil people who park over bays to try and stop some idiot hitting it (when i had my new golf 2 people opened doors onto it in the first week!).
I also park miles from the entrances (which is a pain seeing i'm still on one crutch), and even persuade my friend to drive her skoda to the supermarket instead of taking a nice spin in mine, because the parking is atrocious!

The car wash men are great, and very handy for cleaning the cars too, although i've been concerned they might take it off for a spin!
