Hi everyone,
can anyone help me with this? I wanted to see an Eos with the 18" Samarkand's on it. It doesn't really matter what color the car is, I just need help seeing some images so I can decide if they are right for me.

I'm not sure if I should be asking the dealer to have these added as a factory option. I think by default you have to take the sports suspension on this too - (Sydney, Australian roads aren't known for their smoothness).

Id really appreciate it if someone could show images maybe from the side profile of the car & maybe on an angle?
I thought the Chicago's were good - but maybe a tad too much for me.

Thanks so much everyone!

The Sport Suspension is lowered 15mm from standard and in my opinion the car's stance is improved with this.

As for the Sport Suspension it is firmer than standard and body control is better as well. It is firm but not harsh. If you enjoy a sporty handling car rather than a softer cruiser I would go with the Sport Suspension particularly if you are coming out of a BMW.

I came out of an E46 3 Series Sport and found the standard suspension in the Eos a little soft for my taste. If your Dealer can't get you one to drive get in touch and you can check mine out.

Excellent - thanks a lot.
I thought about this & looked at these images in Photobucket....
I think its the right choice, and they seem to compliment the vehicle really well.

So Ive confirmed these to my dealer also - and this time the pricing was much improved from the original amounts 1 of the dealers mentioned to me - way too much.
So... happy with the pricing & the pointer you gave to have a look at the images too :)

All in all, Im now a happy camper!

Hi again SydEos,
I have one other question for you....

How did you go with your dealers "willingness" to throw in extras - if any when you collected your Eos?

What did they include for you?

My car is a 'Novated Lease' so I got a fleet discount before I started. The only extra I got was the rear wind deflector which was in the car when it was delivered. However according to the Salesman it was in the car when they received it from VW Australia so the simple answer was nothing but I didn't pay anything approaching retail or the quoted Dealer Delivery charges either.

However my previous fleet car was a BMW and I got a BMW Keyring, not the cheap Dealer one either but the one from BMW Lifestyle and and an umbrella on delivery ;)

Ok, thanks.
I will press them to throw in maybe a set of mudflaps, or there is a chrome rear boot strip that looks pretty good.

Interesting you say yours is a novated lease - my current bmw is & my eos will be too.
Mind you, I managed to get them to throw in the bmw sports steering wheel, the keyring, umbrella, anything else - forget it.

I got what I think is a pretty good deal on my eos - they included a corporate discount off the sticker price, plus another $1500 as my girlfriend bought her golf from them too. All up, it was about $6k off the retail so I think theyre going to be stingy about "extras".
Surely mudflaps at the least - they cant be that much at cost price for them!

(interstingly enough I saw a polar blue eos on epping highway coming from atarmon late this afternoon & thought mudflaps would really compliment 18" wheels and give it that "filled out" look.)

Cheers!

Nice going monkeymojo!
They really set your Eos off well. Good choice!
The white + tinted windows look excellent.
Samarkand's frame the car really well - I think the Chicago's would look too much on it.

Thanks a bunch for sharing these pics.
from the feedback I got & particularly the pics Sydeos posted, I altered my order to 18" Samarkand's too - really pleased I did.

Totally looking forward to taking delivery of mine & if it looks as good as yours, I'll be ecstatic.
:)
