Well as the title says, are the exhausts visible on the TDi model?

Thanks in advance,

Don
Hi Don.
On mine they're behind the bumper (twin pipes though). makes the rear look clean though. I think all EOS TDIs are the same.
Saw an Audi A3 Conv 2.0 TDI, it had 4 rear pipes - looked pretty nice but move stuff to polish.

Thanks Jim,

I thought that was going to be the answer. May be it's the mid life crises I'm going through but I do like to see a nice set of exhaust tips. And given how clean diesel engines are these days, there's very little reason not to have them showing. IMO.

The exposed twin pipes seem to be just the 2.0 turbo and the 3.2 litre at the moment (in the UK anyway). I'm suprised VW doesnt have more choice of diesel engines rather than just the one. I suspect that nearly half the eos sold in the UK are diesels! I wonder if there is any way to find out?

Yes, it does seem strange that VW are not offering a more powerful version of the diesel. After all it is a sporty car.

I have the 2.0 FSI Sport and the tailpipes are hidden. As has been said above, I think only the 2.0 turbo and 3.2 have the pipes showing, bit of a con really!
