Hi Shewolf1 -- I live in AZ too -- Scottsdale. I have yet to see an Eos locally, but at least two exist that friends of mine have seen. Mine is on order -- due in 12 weeks now. Paprika red/cornsilk beige 2008 LUX. Do you live in the Phoenix area. I bought mine at Chapman, Scottsdale. They have been great servicing my current car (a 1998 VW Cabrio) -- I highly recommend them.

Enjoy your Eos!!

Roberta, HI! i did get mine from Chapman off McDowell. Really close to my work - makes it convienent when i have to get anything done. I just recently moved south of the Valley to CG (try not to laugh too hard!)

I bought mine off the lot, they had 2 of the Thunderblue at the time i was there... and the Service Dept has been great. Just wish thier sales team actually had the same knowledge. i was informing the sales guys several things they were wrong about - and i only did preliminary research on the vehicles. :)

Very exciting on yours that is coming soon!

Hi Shel,

Casa Grande -- a bit of a commute for you now, but it is a fast growing area, like what's happened in Maricopa. Let's see -- well, you are closer to Tucson and Harrah's Ak-Chin than I am. :)

Before long Casa Grande will look like Chandler, Gilbert, etc. And, it is still affordable. I am pretty lucky to have bought my house in Scottsdale 7 years ago.

By the time I ordered my car in June, my salesman was more informed about the Eos. I also did a lot of homework which was a benefit to him, I would think. They got my business because of their service department. They knew that, so I didn't have much leverage making a deal on the Eos. I still think I got a fair price, though.

Have you needed a lot of service on your Eos? Any big headaches, minor annoyances? Any problems you can blame on our extreme heat? I still have almost 2 months to prepare myself for what I might need to put into perspective. Have you done the Krytox application? I am not big on do-it-yourself car maintenance. I'm hoping the dealer will offer that service.

Thanks for any info you might share!

Roberta,
I wish I could share more with you, i am only a little more than 3 weeks into my Eos and a week of that i was out of town! I am going back to the dealership later this week to see if they can figure out the wierd noise i am hearing. if this is a normal noise, i am going to regret trading in my Infiniti for this. I spend 2-3 hours a day in my car just in commuting to and from work.

I have not done the Krytox yet. i was not given any. i will inquire about that and how to properly apply it. as like you, i am not too big on the do-it-yourself car stuff - especially in our daily heat!!!

I got a fair price i feel, especially since they are not offering much in the line of incentives on this model. I think you will really like it once you get it. the anticipation has got to be driving you nuts though! :)

Eos

We got our Eos at Chapman also. White 2008. Just about ready for first service. Just took a trip to Ne. about 3000 miles and we were getting about 31 mpg at 80 . Love the car.
