Hi, I don't think you can get it fitted after market. You would have to have an external way of connecting the ipod instead.

You dont say what model and year your Eos is. Mine has an adjustable armrest as part of the centre console, to be honest I dont use it much as I find it gets in the way.
Roof and windows down, arm resting on the door is the best way to go!!!!

well

it is an eos miami 2009... I used to have a golf plus with a central armrest and now I missed it. When I look at the central part, it is not looking so difficult to remove. You're right, the IPOD connection may be a problem but that is not the reason why.

Well it seems that I will have to get used to have no central armrest.

When I got my Eos, the armrest was a standard fitment.

I just had a look at mine, and can see it would be possible for VW to have deleted the armrest, and added another moulding to fill in the hinge holes.

Without seeing a photo of your console it would not be possible to comment as to whether an armrest could be added or not.

I have looked at the fixation points andit seems that there is two screws at the back. I will try to remove it. Can somebody take a picture of the armrest open so I can see if there is a possibility to change it?
