We need to have everyone experiencing DSG difficulties to file a complaint with the NHTSA. The reason is because this is the only effective way to make VW responsible for the DSG issues outside of the current warranty period. If enough complaints are filed, VW will likely have to extend the warranty period for the tranny, which means owners will have peace of mind that they won't have to pay for a huge tranny repair after their warranty is over. Please file a complaint (it only takes a few minutes) if you are having any DSG problems and please explain how it could be a safety issue (for example jerking in reverse could cause you to hit another car, or hesitation before launching could cause you to pull out into oncoming traffic too late, causing an accident).
