Hi all,

Just waiting for my Eos to arrive! It's a 07 2.0 TDi Sport. Deep Black with Cornsilk Nappa and 18" Chicagos. I can't wait. Got it for a great price too!

I was just wondering, what audio will be in it? Should it have an MP3 compatible stereo as standard or any aux ports?

It should have the mp3 compatible single slot cd as standard. You can tell if it is mp3 compatible because it should say 'mp3' just above the cd slot.

I dont think there is an aux in anywhere. I think american versions had an aux in slot in the glove box?????

On the 07 model the Aux in was an option - only £15 or £25. If it has one it will be in the arm rest.

I paid for it on my car, but was shipped the facelift model - so I got it as standard - I didn't ask for my money back!!!

Just to prepare you, the MP3 radio was a MY2008 addition in late 2007... 2007 models don't have MP3...

So does my 07 built in August of 06. But then again it could be a US thing and I have the six cd changer as well.

Hi, mines a 2 litre TDI, July 07 and mine has a 6 CD changer which is not mp3 compatable (mores a pitty). I looked at a few cars around this age and it seemed to me you got either a single slot with mp3 or a 6 CD changer?

Any way hope you enjoy your EOS, it's great to drive, and even better in the summer with the top down.

Good news (i think). I got all the documents through for the car and it looks like its a 2008 model year (the 11th character of the VIN number is an 8).

Hopefully this means it has the mp3 cd player.

Does anyone know if there were any other changes from the 2007 to 2008 model year? An Aux in or anything like that?
