Hey peeps...

Wondered if someone can help me out!

I want to jack the car up to get the bottom off...

I want to use Axle Stands.... Please can someone perhaps describe or put in some pictures so I can see how to jackup the car from the front middle (trolley jack) to then place the axle stands in place... Is there also somewhere special I need to put the Axle Stands too?

Thanks

Ramps will probably be the better way to go and unless your car is exceptionally low I'm sure a standard set from an Auto parts shop will do. Maybe worth having the Eos with you and ask the shop if they will allow you to take one of the ramps. By sliding it under the car you will see whether the tyre or bumper hits first.

I have an oil sucker which a rubber tube goes over the top of the dipstick tube.. I used to drain oil from my Smart Car using it.. It's made bu Draper, so should be generic... Do you think that would work for the EOS if the dealer accidentally over fill it (to save taking the botton off just to drain half a litre??). Dealers often do, so I always check it when back from a service and drain some off!!!

Anyone used this, or do you need a tube which goes down the dipstick tube?

Basically, it depends on whether the tube is immersed in the oil at the bottom!

Anyone tried?
