any tips on the best Volkswagen Jetta exhaust? hp? sound?

Your really asking on the wrong forum, this is EOS specific. You may want to check on VWvortex and watch some YouTube videos to get an idea of the different exhausts and how they sound. You don't really need to stick to the Jetta though, just make sure the vehicle you listen to has the same motor. That's the route I had to take, not many VR6 EOS owners with aftermarket exhaust, so I had to listen to R32 and Audi VR6's to determine which direction I wanted to do. That method won't help for off the shelf pre-built exhausts of course, but in the case of the EOS, pre-built exhausts for the VR6 are non-existent.

In the US the Eos is kind of an unknown vehicle. If you are well versed in VW, you can find some performance parts from other models. Direct bolt on performance exhaust parts from the major manufacturers just doesn't exist for any Eos. If you want non OEM it is custom work only and there is no telling what you will end up with.

Particularly when the exhaust pressure and temperature sensors don't give the results the ECU is mapped for! Exhaust systems aren't just about noise, the OE design works in harmony with the cars electronic engine management and emissions control feedback.

If a company advertises and sells a non OE exhaust that isn't a copy, then they should tell you about Dyno testing and ECU remapping. If they know nada, except what noise it makes, then they are just shifting boxes.
