Hi to all.

Do any of you know if it would cause problems to use a bike rack similar to the one pictured in the attachment. It uses straps that attach in the space between the rear window and the trunk, to the side of the trunk and under the car.

I have used it on different cars without problems but I am a little worried of using it on the EOS because of the way the trunk works. Would it be too heavy once two bikes are mounted on it when you take into account that the trunk of the EOS also opens backwards.

never even dared trying... VW, its dealers, magazines...: everyone says one should not try and fit either bike racks or ski racks on the EOS, wherever it is (roof, back...)...
Buying my EOS caused me to buy a second moutain-bike so I can leave one in my country side house, in addition to the one I have at home...

Anyone has a reliable solution?

Others in this forum have used a detachable tow bar with bike rack attachment. I'm sure if you search you'll find it... (I wouldn't want to put the hole in the bumper, though...)
