The instrument lighting was changed from blue to white for the 2010 model year.
I assume your EOS is brand spanking new, therefore a 2010 model.

Just got my 1.4 TSI SE. Pictures to follow 
However the dealer forgot to give me the owners manual :-o
I was under the impression that the Panel lighting was blue... as per the VW.co.uk/eos website. However if anything it looks white. Whilst I wait for the owners manual, is there anyway to adjust the lighting to this? Or is the blue lighting just for the sport spec?
