I purchased the 2.0T with Sport Package in December. Does anyone know if VW intends to add Bluetooth to the car? It has the little phone button on the steering wheel.....

If you have any information please email me directly at: [email protected]

Thanks

There is a thread on here about that. The one that is known to work with VW is made by Parrott. There website seems to not be working now.

I have a Parrot Bluetooth connection on my Eos and it works brilliantly. Have a little screen just aft of the gear-lever so is very unobtrusive. As long as whoever you are calling is in your contacts it's easy; receiving calls is a doddle and of course it works through the radio speakers which mute no problem.

I'll take a photo over the weekend and post it on the site Tuesday 13/03.

Parrot gadget

Hi All,

I agree - the parrot looks like a fab solution to in car and can even link as navigation etc as well.

Does anyone know if a parrot bought and shipped from USA will work/ be compatible here in UK?

The current dollar exch. rate may make it far cheaper to import from USA - any thoughts? ... other than 'it's a long way to send it back if there are problems?'

Parrot is even compatible with my 4 year old mobile phone - wow?

Great forum!

If you have the phone button on the steering wheel a lot of people are adding the Parrot 3000 Evolution and the steering wheel kit from here:
www.quickconnectproducts.com/QCVWS-2.html Nothing has to be mounted on the dash since the steering wheel button replaces the Parrot controller apparently.
