This was on display at the International Motor show in Sydney...
Odd looking color I thought!
There was a nice Eos Individual next to it too.

Oddly enough the staff from the Range Rover display area spent more time in the Eos, than in their own brands vehicles!

That is Samoa Red which has replaced Paprika Red for 2008 in Australia. The Individual had the new optional Cinnamon/Black interior.

Its horrid!
Paprika red looked really sporty.

I agree, looks nothing like red! I like it though, it would certainly stand out!
Oh Davey, I posted some pics earlier of my Eos, it turned out to be the 08 build after all, very happy about that!

I totally agree - that red is terrible - my dealer told me last week that they have now dropped it and will return to Paprika again - the same colour as I had on my old 1990 Golf Cabriolet and now on my Eos.

It confirms my opinion that they're all colour-blind at VW.
Whilst they do need some new colours think what they need is some nice bright light metallics, like a sapphire blue or a metallic orange or yellow - NOT sh*t brown!

More likely that any car next to a sh*t brown Eos would look better (possibly).
I totally agree with NEH321 some of these colours would be much more attactive to buyers. VW colour choosers dont know their ar*e from their elbows as to what the public want, hence sh*t brown.

well its a mix of sepia brown and copper with a little bit of red pearl mixed in the topcoat.

Would have been good if they had EOS's in Deep Blud Pearl just like my old R32.
