I had an exhaust leak that melted my electronic power steering motor that I am now trying to replace. The most inferior plug into the electronic power steering motor (from the steering shaft I believe it is the torque sensor) is melted to the point that I can't tell what order the wires go into the power steering motor. It's a 5 pin plug and 4 wires are going into it. Can anyone check on their car and tell me what order these wires connect?

TLDR I'm looking for the order of wire colors for the steering shaft torque sensor where it connects into the electronic power steering motor on a 2007 VW eos with a 2.0T

It’s your lucky day - I needed to read the workshop manual so while I was there I checked the diagram

Pin 2 is green, 3 brown, 4 white, 5 yellow.

Welcome, by the way - and well done for describing what you needed to know clearly and succinctly.
