Everyones seen the JE Design spoiler, I have just found another, slightly different take on it. Gives options of painted or not painted so takes out the hassle of having to find somewhere to get it spayed once delivered. Only snagis that its a US company so not too sure that they would have the UK paint options for us ukers!

Just thought I would share it with you all.

doesn't the uk and usa eoses come in different colours? if that is the case and your buying this as a painted part just double check as it would be awful if you got the spoiler and it was a different shade of blue etc.
may have picked up the wrong end of the stick on the colour variations from country to country, but thought it best to mention.

I have to say, I dont like this particular design but thought I would throw it in the mix anyway!

Are the colours really different or do they just have different names? Anyone know for sure?

i looked at the abt spoiler and at first i really really liked it ,but the more i looked at it the more it looked like the back of my friends renault laguna. so at the moment im a bit undecided as in my female mind the spoiler has detracted from the eoses identity.

I don't think it matters. When you give the spoiler manufacturer the colour info, you give him the colour code not the colour name and that provides the mix formula. By the way, I bought a spoiler from another firm in Texas (found them through EBay) and used epoxy to attach it. I've had it for over six months an absolutely no problems. Colour match was perfect.

I didn't actually ask the question in regard to spoilers but just out of interest to know if US/Canadian colours were different from ours at this side or whether they are actually the same but some go under different names!

I'm not even thinking of fitting a spoiler to my Eos as personally think they're a bit daft on a car that's not really likely to exceed 80/90 mph. Spoilers only really work at very high speed and even then they're there to keep the rear-end planted on high-speed bends. Appreciate people fit them for their looks rather than what they do but I think some of them can look really naff, especially on cars with no performance anyway.

My understanding is that the colours, indeed, are identical, but with different names .... for example, Loonie Blue is Eismeer Blue. To confirm, you could compare the chip codes.
I agree that putting a spoiler on an EOS is not a performance decision, but rather an esthetics issue; and "beauty is in the eye of the beholder".

my point exactly!
it changes the look of the car rather than enhancing it
the only one i really like is the very small lip spoiler but although there are pics of it nobody has been able to source it
ps not long to go now jamcar :D

hi pacemaker1000
think we are on the same page concerning the spoiler issue, i love the lines on the eos and although open minded to a spoiler it would have to be very subtle, will have to try and look at the one you mentioned, although prob lil point if no one has been able to source it,oh well curiousty and all that eh?
hopefully everything running to plan 7 weeks today and i will be on cloud eos lol. (will prob be bending your ear on your dvd on nav system thread)

the JE design is big but some how manages to add to the car and not change it
others are hideous though

looked at link, i really liked the one posted by flubber described more as a boot lip than a spoiler, would be interested to see what it looked like from the side. but so far that is def my favourite and the sort of thing that i would go for if i opted for a spoiler.
The others were all just a bit in your face for me, and thought the jetta spoiler looked awful the way that thin lip stuck up in the air, it was as if there was another piece that had not yet been attached or had come off.:D
