Anyone have any tips about buying car mats? Me being both blonde and stupid went to Halfords yesterday and spent £20 on mats that wouldn't fit over the floor mounted accelerator! Felt like such an idiot but the fella said he would have them for his Polo...except he'd forgotten he already had mats! lol I hear E-Bay calling.....

Anyway, does anyone have any super dooper high quality low cost mats that they would like to recommend to me?

depends on whether you want carpet or rubber, personnaly I will go for rubber when my EOS arrives. The VW ones are not bad value and look quite nice with a EOS logo on them, 26 quid I think but they don't do rear ones ??
Or as other have recommended the Cannon ones look good www.cannoncarmats.co.uk at 44 quid for the whole set

Thing is with the Cannon ones, they don't look like they are actually catered for the Eos as they don't include the locking device in the top right corner... looks like VW are going to get my money if they ever get back to me about my enquiry....

I got a set of cream ones with my eos when i ordered black anyway i ordered some off ebay front and rear for £30 all together with postage

They are good quality and made for the eos

Haha why would anyone want cream ones when they are there to stop the dirt getting to the carpet??! Did you send them back? Bet they actually looked ok though....hmm

Was it a shop on ebay or a private seller do you know Steph?

I have a spare set of genuine black VW mats (front and back) which I might be tempted to part with. I bought them before getting the Eos only to find mine came with them fitted.

Grrr the bloody mats I found turned up today with circular fittings rather than ovular as I requested....looks like my interior carpets will just have to get even more of a beating until the bloody company sort it out. not a happy bunny!
