You got that one - and after this winter, with pot holes everywhere in the UK, I have a few more nicks.

I reckon, no structural damage, no air leak -> all is good. I don't see that it is worth spending a fortune getting them dealt with. Perhaps I'll accumulate a couple of years' worth adn then see about getting them polished, or whatever it is that people do...

The joys of low profile tyres!! I have scuffs on 2 out of 4, I am looking into repair costs but it is expensive because of the 2 colours and the way the face was machined, apparently its called diamond cut, thats why you can see lines under the lacquer.

Just think what the car would look like with 15" rims and 65 profile tyres!!!

Had some spare time last night so whipped of a couple of wheels - after an hour with wet n dry paper, metal polish cream and a light coat of laquer it's surprising how you can hide the worst offending scuffs. Not a permanent fix but certainly makes your alloys look 100% better.

Got mine in nov 09, had scuffs on them and had them repaired before I took ownership of the car. Still unmarked from when they were repaired, will try and keep them that way

Took my car to have two new tyres fitted. Cleaned the wheels and made very special comments to the tyre fitter that the wheels were 'mint' and that he should be careful. The tyre remover machine has put a score across each of the spokes and a chunk out of the rim. I'm just waiting to get them back from the wheel repair company.... just hoping they have made a good job. They quoted 90 GBP a wheel.

Great looking wheels.... when not used!
