I’ve just bought a 2011 EOS 1.4 and need advice as to what 2 child car seats I can fit in the back seats for a 5 yr old and 7 yr old at the same time please.

Best advice is to go to a specialist baby seat fitter who will be able to advise which currently available child booster seats are compliant with the applicable regulations and can be easily fitted to your vehicle.

Saves future problems with compliance with regulations when inspection of the vehicle is required for registration purposes.

Thanks for that, but I was hoping to avoid that route, as it’s only for occasional use as not my kids, so wanted to buy second hand as their own seats are too big, so hoped someone with kids could recommend a type

You got absolutely the correct reply from silvershadow. A collision accident killing car occupants or sending a kid through the screen from a bad seat is also an occasional event and not a good way to keep your friends? I wouldn't trust my kids in a car with a dodgy seat or some faked brand import from China - there are plenty about! Go to Halfords or a V.W dealer and they should advise and fit according to the latest specifications and regulations. Ask the mother first if she is happy with what you want to do.

To add to Vox's reply - NEVER PURCHASE AND FIT A 2ND HAND [USED] CHILD RESTRAINT OF ANY TYPE UNLESS YOU KNOW THE SELLER AND ARE FULLY AWARE IT HAS NOT BEEN IN A PREVIOUS ACCIDENT SITUATION. THE LOSS OF LIFE OR INJURY TO YOUR, YOUR RELATIVES' OR YOUR FRIENDS' CHILD FROM AN ACCIDENT WHERE A SECOND-HAND CHILD SEAT HAS FAILED TO FUNCTION PROPERLY DUE TO PROBLEMS ARISING FROM ITS PAST INVOLVEMENT IN AN ACCIDENT IS NOT WORTH WHAT IS A PALTRY COST SAVING THAT CAUSES GRIEF AND INJURY TO AN INNOCENT CHILD ENTRUSTED TO YOUR CARE.
