Have had my EOS for about 6 months now. It is Wheat Beige with Cornsilk Leatherette interior. The interior is really hard to clean, especially where anything greasy or oily gets on it. Has anyone found any good products for cleaning-up spots like these? The worst is the arm rest between the front seats. If gets dirty from just resting my arm on it while driving. I've tried a couple of leather/vinyl cleaners and just plain dishwashing soap and water with only limited success. Thanks:(

Same interior

Aloha Tom,
I have the same interior, and the same problem. It's so pretty to look at, but boy what a bummer to keep clean. I found that a a watered down version of Simple Green and damp cloth work great.

I had my interior treated when I bought the car. This seems to be helping but the interior still gets dirty especially by the rear seatbelts and headrests. I have been having pretty good luck using the Armor-all Interior wipes followed by drying with a microfiber cloth. I do this every cople weeks or so.

Hi Tom.I have the same problem with my corn-silk beige leather.I tried all known leather cleaners but the hard spots still present.I take my eos to a very good carwash and the boys told me to use a fine brush together with the leather cleaner. But be careful,I didn't try it yet.I will do it soon and I will post the results. The brush must be very fine to avoid damaging the leather/maybe a shoe-brush or clothes brush/

Mr. Clean

I'm not sure if this product is in the U.K. or not, but here in the states we have something called Magic Eraser made by Mr. Clean. This product has a million uses, and I have recently added one more - cleaning my car interior. I have the tan interior and it gets smudges and stains all the time. When I come across the ones that don't come off easily I use the ME and whatever it is comes right off. I just follow up with a wet rag and then dry. Perfect.

I agree! Magic Eraser is a perfect product followed by a damp cloth! It got all the dye transfer and road grime of the seats while the dealer had told me it was normal wear and I would have to live with it. I think the dealers should check this site out!
