This one only affects UK owners.
My tax renewal came through and in the engine capacity/CO2 details it shows 202g/km (my car is the 2.0TFSI).
VW and in fact the VED website confirms 194g/km.
This year is ok but next year the difference will mean a different tax bracket.
I have emailed and queried this with the DVLA but do not expect a quick answer.
Has anyone else noticed this anomily or have the DVLA just made a mistake with me?

The figures on the VW website show 194g/kg.
Early models are 202 but sometime towards the end of 2006 the figure got revised to 194.

eos co2 rating dropped to 194 in nov 2006. i know cos i just swapped one for a newerlower tax one
dont panic yet though as the government may have to backtrack on this retrospective tax as they have been caught with their trousers down on it.

Thanks for the information, I did'nt realise there was a previous thread.
My car was registered in Jan 07 but must have been built prior to the change.
