Can any of you shed any light on which iPod models are compatible with the iPod dock? I know my shuffle won't work, but what about the others? Nano? Classic? Any help appreciated.

Your right about the shuffle Lordy, but both my nano and classic fit great and work well, its also great not to have to remove them when you leave the car as they are hidden in the arm rest.

I have a 30 GB video ipod - it works fine in my EoS with the iPOD dock.

I dont know if your guys' models came with any, but my Eos came with about 5 different little docks you place around the Ipod to make whatever device fit perfectly in the dock...

The iPod Touch works, but is a shade too tall to close the armrest completely.

Luckily, I had my iPod video to use in the car. The touch was a 'cool hardware' purchase I bought on a whim without getting rid of my other iPod first!

I have no problem with my nano. But I cant get the dock to fit right, too tight.
I found that when I fitted my nano. Two of the fittings you get look very similar but one will not fit with the nano at all. I used the fitting with 7 stamped on it. I had to put the nano in first, then slide the fitting over the top of it. A firm push down, and a perfect, tight fit.

The Boss and I have a Nano each. Hers is one of the older models and is a bit fatter than mine (which is a later 2007model). A present hers is in the car and fits theadapter perfectly. I'll try my nano later and report back.

Tried my IPod and there is a seperate adapter for the later models in the bag I got with mine. May be worth having a look at the others supplied, or perhaps your dealer didn't include the full range.;)
