Hi all,
I test drove a 2009 Eos last week and loved it. I had never seen one in person until 3 weeks ago when I pulled up along side a 2007 and had a quick conversation with the driver. He loved his and raved about it for the minute we were both at the light. The looks and retractable hard top were huge selling points for me.
Since then, I have been doing some research reading reviews and user posts. I was disturbed by the reports of 1. bad leaks and 2. the oil burning. Are these the exceptions or the rules? Do most people carry extra oil and add it every 1,000 miles? That reminds me of my old 1970 Karmann Ghia
At the Edmunds Car Forums I read:

I also read reviews at:

If anyone has had problems with leaks, I found a very interesting article about lubrication that is worth the time:

Thanks in advance for any insight.
