The price list shows cruise control as a factory fitted option at £270. it's also listed as an accessory at only £150 and the notes say installation included. Doesn't make much sense to me ... anyone got an answer?

It's the same thing technically... There is no diff between dealer or factory fit... I just guess it's easier to inflate the price when someone is excited about buying a car!!!

I got mine as dealer fit. The only possible problem with this is the dealer causing damage when it's fitted.

Same here, fitted by the dealer for £150. Sadly they did manage to disconnect my windcreen wipers in the process. They were very apologetic but you do feel you just cant trust them anymore to get things right. Ah Well!
The cruise is really handy though

I've thought about it a few times but just not sure I trust the dealer to do it properly. I do trust them to top-up the engine oil but that's about it I think.
