I see on the 2008 model offered here it offers the Auto Lock feature after take off, then in brackets in the brochure it says "Programmable".

Has everyone got this feature enabled on their Eos's, and if so, is it something you asked your dealer to activate for you prior to you taking delivery?
Is there a cost associated with it?

My current vehicle does this & its really handy.

Comments anyone?
Thanks!

ok.........
so I can do it myself, right - provided I have the MFD?

The manual will show me how to do this, or I should save myself the embarrassment of failing miserably - car mechanics & the likes & I go together like oil + water- and tell the dealer to do it for me.

Hi DaveyW, picked up my eos about 2 months ago. My understanding is that its standard on all oz delivery. My dealer programmed it as part of PDI or you can do it yourself - the instructions is in the manual. If you want when you pick up the car ask the salesperson to activate it - it takes less than a minute. Also if you want theres a feature that only the driver's door is locked/unlocked and the passenger door and boot is only unlocked on double click of the remote - good safety feature.

Thanks melbeos, I'll double check with the dealer & if it is a minute or so to implement, I'll be laughing :)

Even better though if its sorted for me I guess before I take deliver - PDI as you say.

Cheers
