Hi, in France they are an extra option (110EUR) for DSG cars. Invaluable when driving steep and curvy mountain roads, to avoid car to keep shifting to upper gift and accelerating.... and fun to believe one's driving a F1 ;-)

so u mean i may get it if i ask the dealer? cos my car not gonna dock until end of this month...
My guess is that since the paddles are attached to the steering wheel, the dealer will have to replace the entire steering wheel with one that has the paddles. This may not go with the interior you selected - you might want to check on that.

sport

I don't have them and I don't care... I rarely use even the manual setting... I just slip it into "S" and let rip! ;)
I agree; sport is fun, but if I leave the MFD on the setting to monitor MPG, watching that number go down quickly is not fun. Still, every now and then it is very therapeutic to use sport mode and really feel the torque!
