Has anyone removed the brushed aluminium door spears from their inner door panels?

Do they just pop off or are there clips that break when you try to lever them off?

Alternatively, can someone give me a blow by blow description for removing the inner door panel, so that I can access the door spears from the rear.

Thanks

As I recall the silver piece and the woodtrim if you had that, can be removed if you remove the inner panel. Once removed you can't easily reattach the trim as it is heat welded in place. There are pins from the trim that go through the inner panel and then melted over like a rivot on the back side of the door panel. In early discussions the only way to change the trim was to change the entire panel which is ridiculously expensive. However I don't know if that is still the case.

Yes, that makes sense, hence the second part of my question.

From what I can see of it, there are 3 T20's to be removed, but I wasn't sure if there were more T20 type fasteners behind the grab handles, and how they were accessed, and whether the inner trim was lifted up, out or side ways after that.
