Help!

I am new to this forum so I don't know if these issues has been brought up yet. I got my Eos this year. It's a 3.2 '07. I am in love with it. Despite the rattling door, leaking window, and faulty roof.

The door rattles when I shut it, when I reach high speeds, and when the bass in music is too loud. There is no give especially when I shut it. It sound like the door breaks every time. When I go through the car wash (which is something I just realized that I'm not supposed to do) the windows leak on the top. Not only that, but I can't just hold the button and have my top go down with ease. One of the side flaps gets caught on part of the roof, and the operation doesn't complete until I reach all the way over and move the flap. I'm frustrated! Anyone know what the deal is?

EosGirl11, sounds like you need our 'techy' Simon for this one, maybe even a trip back to the dealer. How long have you had the car? As you said yourself - going through a car wash is a No No!

I would suggest a visit to the dealer. These sound like issues they need to take care of.

Problem is...

I bought it from a dealer in Florida and had it shipped up here. There isn't a Volkswagen dealer in my area. *Sigh*. I guess I'll have to drive a ways to find out. Thanks!

My window leaked as well. I took it in to the dealer three times before they were able to get it to stop leaking. I don't exactly know what they did but I could find out for you if you and your dealer are having trouble.

I agree.... It's one for the dealer... They hydraulic rams which control the tailgate also have metal wire which lift and lower the flaps. It is possible that one of these is out of alignment or is getting caught....
