The holes that on the mat that snap into the bottom of the floor came off the mat and are now stuck on the car's floor.. anyone else have this. should vw replace the mat after only 2 months??

One of my hole "clips" came apart after about 3 months of use. I just snapped them back together from each side of the map and I haven't had a problem since. I suspect if I had used super glue when I snapped them back together, they never would come off again. Not sure what you mean by "stuck" on floor as the "hole clip" is really just a small donut that lays on the "peg" sticking out of the floor.

I haven't any idea as to how many extra mats VW has available as spares. If I remember correctly, the whole mat package cost about $90. I suppose if VW buys your warrantee request, they will just give you another set. That wouldn't cost them much with their wholesale price. Ask them for a new set. All the can say is Yes or No.

Should vw replace the mat after only 2 months??

Theoretically, the mats are covered by the same 2-year warranty (Europe) as the rest of the car. If I were you, I would take the car back to your dealer and ask them to repair/replace.

And if the dealer doesn't replace them you can get them on ebay for about £30 for the whole set i got some black ones after ordering black with a cream trim and ending up with all cream, not good with muddy feet eh! so i got some black ones off ebay instead and put my cream ones in the bottom of my wardrobe!
