On my 2007 EOS, the tongue of the seat belt faces the door not the drivers seat so I have to put a 1/2 turn twist in the belt every time I buckle it. This is not the case on the passenger side belt, the buckle faces the passenger seat and no 1/2 turn is required to use that one. I have never looked at another EOS to see if they are all like mine.

Can anyone please advise me if they have the same 1/2 turn twist issue for their drivers seat belt that I do?

Mine faces the seat. Perhaps all you need do is turn the buckle around in the strap. I had this problem in my last car.

Driver Seat Belt Update

Thanks, mine has been backwards since I took delivery, the salesman that did the delivery could not figure out how to turn it over either, but I took delivery anyway and am just now getting around to getting it resolved. I tried to turn it around myself but the darn slot is just too narrow for me to accomplish this!

VW Dealer accepted as a warranty issue today. I had do have my vehicle serviced to get a damaged winshield replaced anyway.

Final update: Drivers Seat Belt

Yes - it is supposed to face the drivers seat, somehow mine was made backwards or somehow got reversed before I took delivery. Dealer fixed it but left some serious tool marks on the plastic part of the tongue in process of getting it turned around. Just what I was afraid of doing if I tried to use tools to fix it myself. I am just happy not to have to mess with having it twisted anymore and will live with the tool marks, since they are noticable only by myself.
