I am often amazed at the low temperatures at which our northern hemisphere cousins open the roof for topless motoring. This morning Melbourne was blessed with a typical stunningly beautiful autumn day, clear blue sky, no breeze BUT it was a bit chilly (10 degrees C ) when I left for work at 8:30 AM. So I decided that it is a nice morning albeit cold, I will go topless, I donned a beanie and thick jacket, turned the seat heating on and set the climate control to 22 degrees C and I have to say that it was unexpectantly a very very pleasant drive indeed. :) It looks like I am not limited to just Late Spring and Summer for topless driving!!!!!

Yes, it's surprising, isn't it? I've set a kind of arbitrary lower limit of 12 deg C before I get the top down, but even so, I've managed quite a few days of topless driving in the past month.

I didnt but the EOS to drive with the roof up.

Providing it's not raining I wack on the heated seats, wind deflector up and get that baby down. Engage first and drive, drive, drive!!!

Top only goes up in the rain, or if the wife is out with me, we are going out and she doesnt want her hair messed up...lol

4 Degrees!!!!!!! And it is springtime there right? But I do like your resolution (to go topless at every opportunity that is). Glad to hear that you are really enjoying your brand new car. They are terrific. It is the first time I have owned a convertible and I am a total convert now.

Yep - Springtime - but....we have to take every opportunity as we never know what kind of Summer we're going to get!

In the UK are you allowed to drive your Right Hand Drive cars on the continent? For instance if you had a crook summer could you drive to Portugal? I see that cars are put on the train that connects the UK to France.

There are no restrictions on driving RHD cars in Europe, nor driving LHD cars in the UK.

All vehicles using the Channel Tunnel go on trains; you can't drive through.
