When I bought my 07 Eos, you had to order the Lux or Sport options @$3500-$3700 USD plus $1000 USD for the DynAudio option. I like that I can crank up the volume and the sound is still clear. Seems to get adequately loud top up or down. If there is a shortcoming other than the cost is that the back seat speakers don't sound any where near as good as the fronts. Even when you sit in the back you still hear the front speakers better.

Hi
It's definitely worth the extra money !
You can really hear the sound quality difference with that extra power and speaker layout.
If your a music fan or do a lot of driving, you'll appreciate the extra bucks !

I think the Dynaudio really shines with the top down and the sound is quite clear, crisp, great bass. I knew I was getting a Lux anyway (wanted park distance control) and fortunately Dynaudio was in the one I wanted, color and all!

I want the Dynaudio but can't. You either can get it with the car or your out of luck and no option to upgrade (per my Dealership and a call to Dynaudio North America). Crazy!!! Why they would not want extra business is beyond me!

Just a word of warning, I've had the head replaced twice, under warranty so it's no big deal and absolutely no problem, just a pain in the backside

Dynaudio

Why you need extra quality music when your top is down is beyond me! I can understand having nice audio in a luxury saloon where the internal cabin is pin-drop silent, but hey in an Eos the cabin is not that quiet and when t he top is down, between the wind and traffic noise I cannot justify forking out an extra $3K when the RCD510 sounds just fine.

Really a matter of choice, I think. Given the option of Dynaudio vs Sat Nav or BiXenons, I would choose the Satnav!
