neh seems to be the man in the know as regards the carpart situation Trish. Think in a previous thread it was the north carpark, which I assume means you actually cross the bridge to get to it (neh?)
I think we will just come to the Bridge meet and not do the actual drive to the coast but better that than nothing. I will send you a pm with my mobile number so we can at least keep in touch this time!

That leaves just 4 of us doing the drive then?
I will do it anyway however many come so pleased to see as many as possible ard 1100/1130. Thought about departure time 1130 to get to Scarborough in time for lunch, so suggest those who are only coming to the car park could come a little earlier, say around 1100.

Actually it would be a little more pleasant to meet on the Humber bank at Hessle Foreshore, from where you can actually get a great view of the bridge and the river. Car Park itself is a bit boring! It's quite well signposted, but just head for the riverfront and follow the signs. There is plenty of car-parking facing the river, so suggest driving up to the area just before the bridge.

Will drop by the main car park just in case someone has come along without reading this and gone there!

In Scarborough it would be nice to head for a car park on the south side and maybe have lunch around the Spa Royal Hall area. That's for those who haven't brought a picnic!

My EOS is in the garage having the roof checked out as its aquired a creek so if its back by friday I,ll come through to the meet. My loan car is a GOLF plus TDi manual which is taking some getting used to after the DSG box in the EOS, cant wait to get her back again.
