I see there is a new (cheaper) entry level Eos for 2009 http://www.channel4.com/4car/news/news-story.jsp?news_id=18298 in the UK. Compared to original 'base' Eos it seems to have lost the rear parking sensors and the centre arm-rest.

Get the Komfort

Hello from Hawaii,
Spring the extra bucks and get the Komfort! Much nicer with the avaliable options. I almost bought a base EOS, and have no regrets. Easier to get all the good stuff at intial purchase, than trying to add on latter.

electric-folding door mirrors looks like a good choice and certainly one i would have picked would have also liked the same time of park assist that appears to park the car for you

Don't think you can get park assist on any Eos. Only the rear distance sensors which were always standard before but I see the new entry level 1.4 does without them. They must have a spare job lot of rear bumpers they need to move...
