Hi just got this car from California, gps very slow to load and its always off road message ,but the map when loaded is right on.
do i need a another cd for canada .?
or an up date?
the dealer said its normal lol.

The off-road message is standard if there are new streets. Since you got it in CA, do you know if there was Canadian support on the CD?

I know that while in Canada, we always get US details but I don't know if it's reciprocal.

As for the speed, I don't know what "slow" means to you but mine usually takes about 30 seconds to start up.

Can anyone please help,i cannot enter two digit numbers in the address bar as the cursor does not move back and stays in the hundreds is it something i have done worked fine before. VW EOS 2008
Also how often does the update information disc need to be changed= maps navigation etc etc.

I think your dealer is suffering from a serious case of "Brain Freeze".

What do you mean when you say "the map is loaded" ?

Your map data base should be loaded all the time.

If you have a map data base CD, it should load to the hard drive and not have to be used again.

I'm just a bit confused so be kind. Maybe it's my age.
