Hi All,

Had a phone call from my VW Dealer to say my EOS arrived today. For all of you eagerly awaiting your EOSes, mine was build week 20. I get to pick it up on Thursday 14th June, just as the weather is supposed to turn wet!!! Will post some pics as soon as I can but now can't wait to commence a few EDAs!!!

Regards,

Steve

Congratulations from Collingwood, Canada! Hope you enjoy your new EOS as much as we all do. Nice looking dog, too ... will he be allowed in the new car? I've got three ... Springer Spaniel, German Shorthair Pointer, and Standard Poddle. So far, none allowed in my EOS, just the wife's Passat wagon! Don't know how much longer that will last! Cheers,

Oh you jammy git, got ages 2 wait 4 mine yet. only ordered 3 weeks ago. When u say urs was built in week 20, is that simply week 20 on the calander, as in 14th May? If so that seems pretty quick, just about a month from build to dealer.

How long after u order do they tell u the build week?

Looking at it, it is Calender Week 20 also. My Build Week is 24 starting 9th June 2007, so should be built anyday now! Been told by dealer (Probably rubbish) that I should have the vehicle by beginning of July!

You will find out your build week quite quickly but that is subject to change.

My dealer has advised that production has stepped up a little and Eos's are coming through much quicker than usual.

Lucky Dog!
Maybe I'll relent and let the poodle in .... doesn't shed and he has been trained to sit patiently with seat restraint on (only 7 months old). The other two are ten years old and never did get used to being seat belted.
Enjoy your car this week! Cheers,

My Welsh Corgi sheds like crazy, we stick a sheepskin and flannel dogbed in the back seat and put the wind cover up if we are going to have the roof down. She basically just sleeps back there the whole time. Lots of hair flies around at first if she has been traveling with us with the roof up and I put it down after, but I keep a dusting mitt in my glove box and wipe it down. Lily my corgi loves the car, and travels in it much better than in our Toyota Highlander. I think she feels kind of nestled down in the back seat.
