Blimey - chills you a bit to see that happening - even with crash test dummies being used.

I;m not crazy about the eos driver hitting their head against the steering wheel through the bag... it seems like the bag deflated too soon. Although the eos wasn;t the only one that had that problem.

I took the time to check out the mustang convertable.. its a horror to watch.. the whole passenger compartment just compresses, and the already low A bar gets really close to the dummy's head. the other ford hardtop cars did well like the 500.

the pontiac G6 convertable had the front seat become loose after the crash!!!

I noticed that alot of the dodge cars, none of them convertable, did terribly!! really substandard.. the whole body crumpled, alot of leg damage to the dummy by the dash....

I found these pics a while ago and think that they will be of interest to the club.

thanks for posting those pics.. interesting setup with the two baby seats in both a forward and rear position.. I wonder which did best?

yeah that knee impact just, um, "shattered" my plans to install the cubbie hole drawer there and removing the plate that currently obstructs it...

The side impact is a hard one to protect against... there is so little to absorbe the iimpact... it definitley seems like you;d get a busted arma nd ribs, possible itnernal injuries.. but your head will be ok at least...

like, i dont know how this lady is still standing from that impact... they almost clobered each other's head....
