Mmm an interesting question, and something I did considered when buying mine. As your 1st post this could be considered as malicious ??? it’s an individual choice as to what you buy as your transport. I bought mine as I have never had a convertible before but always promised myself one. I have over the many years had a love :)confused: ) for VW cars,. So the Eos was perfect timing for me. I do hope you buy one, but not for the wrong reasons ! A girls car!!!!!

All the best Paul (Male ;))
I think it can be for either male or female. My husband is dying to drive mine but I won't let him :)
juwel, juwel, juwel... You're breaking my heart.

I am man!
I drive Eos!
Eos is fun!
Wife likes Eos!
Wife can't drive Eos! (for Wanda)

If I had to classify a chic car... hmmm.... OK.. if you live in the states I'd say the Toyota celica (the new ones) are right on with chic car. And I apologize if there are any celica fans out there. Just an opinion.

And I understand I probably deserve to be hassled about my above comment about the celica (ongoing battle with a friend  yes, he drives one) But the bottom line is juwel, do you like it. Does it do it for you? When you put the top down and relax in a very comfortable vehicle, does it matter what the people think on the street when you catch their eye? Have you driven one?

If so then remember...

You are juwel!
You like Eos!
You buy Eos!
Juwel Happy in Eos!

'Nuff said.

I am a woman, but my man loves to drive it too!
Last week a guy in a porche parked next to me and we talked about how much he loved the EOS for 20 minutes.
Buy whatcha like!
hi again

thanks for the replys and keep them comming. I must say i have always seen a soft top convertible as a womans car but at this is a hard top it does make it more of a mans car. And i have to see it is one of those cars that realy does grow on you! Also as a Q how easy do people find it getting in and out of the back seats?
Hey juwel,
It's not too bad if you aren't too tall. It is much easier if the top is down vs. top up. But expect it to be somewhat cramped if you have a full load of adults. Kids... no problem.
my son loves it

well, having had a 2001 jetta (black with chrome rhimes) my son loved it. and on an errand for me, totaled it. rolled 94 feet, came out with out a scratch on him. but the body of the car protected him. not crunched. sooo to avoid son's love of next car i bought a bug. turbo all the fixins for me. (VW makes excellent bodies for crashes)but a chicks car per my son. then i heard of the eos. and did much research on the web for months before they came to the states. i drove my vw dealer crazy, and they were not taking orders. but i could be the first to drive the demo when it arrived ( it helped my son worked for vw) and i was sold.... and so was my macho son. this he said, is a car i could have. (as if i needed his approval!!!!) now it's.... can i borrow the car?? so his being 24 and wanting to drive it says it all... don't kick yourself later for not having it. oh and by the way the 6'2'' man i date loves it. plenty of leg room and was impressed with all the gadgets. and loves the blue lights in the dash. he is a man well traveled and knows cars. and felt this has a great interior and quality. sooo go forth and be happy

thans for help pepino! :) this may sounds realy silly but has and one moded there car at all. With a body kit or with lambo doors and so on
Male:

I'm a male, and I drive an EOS, but I also.

- have a New R32 on order
- 2007 Jetta TDI
- 77 VW Westfalia campmobile deluxe

I think the older cabrio was a girl car, the new beetle is a girl car, I think depending on how you "outfit this EOS" it can go either way.

Those are my 2 cents

Can't say I agree that all rag top convertibles are girls car. Guess I'll have to take back the new Gallardo Spider because it is a girls car.

I think everyone here is making an excellent point and I have to say that I agree with cody a lot.
 You would think in the twenty first century that a car would no longer have a gender...I mean let's get real. For my part it is tres masculine with just a hint of smoothness and nice curves...hehehe. Enjoy for those who are lucky enough to already have this beautiful and curvateous, yet muscular mobile.
I am a man , i drive an EOS and i absolutely love it.
I have also seen women drive it but that doesnt seem to bother me .... i have also seen women drive all sorts of cars, i don't think that means anything.......

The EOS is a car for cool people :)

Happy and safe driving eevryone !

There are certainly cars which are 'girlie' (e.g. a pink Nissan Micra CC) including the new VW Beetle (I declined to borrow my dealer's Beetle Convertible courtesy car for fear of looking an idiot..) but I don't see the Eos as one of them.

I'm definitely a bloke and I love mine!

Most of the comments I've had (and plenty of people have come up to me in the supermarket car park as well as other places) have been from men as well, although have had comments from women young and old too! Seems it's unisex!

Chick's car my ass!

:) :D   My wife and I are the first people in Australia to buy an Eos (due for launch here in March) and unless you have some abnormal issue with your sexuality (which is understandable for someone who was flogged 5 nil in the ASHES and was therefore feeling a little bit emasculated as a result)

Mate - the EOS is a a spectacular car and is the closest thing i have seen in years to come close to a merc without the price tag.

GO FOR IT MAN - YOU WILL FEEL TEN TIMES A BIGGER MAN THAN YOUR ENGLISH CRICKET TEAM EVER WILL!!!!!!
ok thanks for those comments guys. First of i have to agree with people out there with the VW beetle convertible it is a girls car. I must say i do like the Eos as a mans car and have to admit i have suddenly started noticing them. I also have to say the price is good for wat u get. Also i know we are not the best at cricket but we will come back!
I'm a Texas dude

Love my eos, everyday I walk into my garage, I still marvel at it's beauty, I'm an award winning architect, all my designer friends love it, By the way , nono of these designers were gay. Hell I'm in Texas. And I used to drive a V8 Toyota Tundra
Candy white, 2.0T , sports, Dynaaudio, 18"rims. Ipod Adapter...
Victor,

Welcome to the club. I haven't seen Candy white yet, hope to see a few photos.

DickNiceos - Wow don't you just give Aussies a great name. You and your boyfriend were the first to order in Australia. How did you work that one out. When did you order?? As for cricket, not that I am a fan but didn't the Aussies lose their last 3 games and England won the One Day International.
Lets just stick with the car of which I collect mine tomorrow from the dealer in Brisbane.
Aussie Girl
I think the eos is a car for everyone and suits both men and women! i definitely agree that some cars (like the micra cc!!) are girls cars but even being a girl, frankly, i wouldn't be caught dead in one! i think the eos just shows more class and sophistication than many of its rivals.

I did look at the 206cc et al the others but the eos is just so much better - for women AND men!!! vw = better looking car and better quality so that's why i chose an eos!

i think we should run a pole on how may women and men own eosses and that'll give more of an insight!
