Hi everyone.
I just want everyone to know. I've had my Eos for just over a year and I love it.
I've already done 15,000 miles and I put the hood down as much as I can.
Countless trips down the M6/M1 from Manchester to London during the summer. After 9pm, hood down all the way.

I've only had 2 problems with it:

- When the car is frozen, and there is ice on the windows >> the windowns don't come down, so the doors don't open. First time this happened, I tried water, but this ruined the electrics and the windowns went half way down and stayed there. The problem soon sorted itself out though.

- The leaking from the front windows. When its raining, and you unlock the car, it lets water in immediately - and does continuously after that once the windows are up. Thats an issue owning an Eos in the UK, as it rains so frequenlty. I lost one of my upper door speakers due to this - which was replaced by VW free of charge.

Bring on the summer.

I had this happen once over Christmas. After cleaning off the window seals, the leaking stopped. I think the seals had some dust or dirt stopping the window from creating a good seal.

With as much rain as you get, you might want to clean and lubricate the seals more frequently than VW suggests.
