Just back from a week's touring in Ireland (passed the 10k mark whilst we were over there), I did not see another single EOS- is it not available in Ireland, where they certainly love their new VW'''s? Lot's of folks seemed to do a double take, which hardly happens in the UK.

Managed quite a bit of driving with the roof down.......

Also....... I can now confirm that my roof does not leak

Might wait a bit longer before taking the eos over to ireland on the ferry. Do worry about parking knocks etc. on the ferry. They seem to do their utmost to pack the vehicles in as tightly together as possible.

Depends where you went! I'm in Northern Ireland, and I've seen about half a dozen. Went down to Dublin recently and didn't see any. Mind you, on motorways you miss the other side.

We had a couple of nights in Dublin- car stayed in hotel car park, then 3 nights in Killarney (fantastic touring country) and a couple more nights at Galway Bay into Connemara.
Spent ages cleaning blobs of tar off the car when I got home- Autoglym Intensive Tar Remover, excellent stuff.
