Im up for it. Skidoo mentioned a trip to Whitby which would be good, Scarborough too. Sunday would be a good day for me as I work on a saturday morning. The sooner the better too!

If it's of any use...My husband organises alot of car cruises with his car club.

We are just organising one in the Cotswolds. This includes a turn by turn map of a route from Gaydon motor museum through to Broadway. It takes in some lovely roads and sites and then a finish for dinner.

Sundays is usually a good day. I only mentioned Whitby as it was a nice drive (& I fancied some fish & chips) but perhaps for us midlanders somewhere like Chatsworth wouldn't be bad. Big car park in the actual park, great views, restaurant near the garden centre bit that's quite decent (or was last time I was there) and space for any kids or dogs that anyone brings along ?

Would it be too busy though Skidoo? Its a very popular place, although we have never been!
We need a few more people to come forward and let us know if they fancy it.

I used to belong to a classic car club years ago (had an old Riley) and they used to organise treasure hunts where we all drove off with a list of cryptic clues for daft things to do like get the name of the desk sergeant at a certain police station or the tel number of some hard to find telephone box. It was time limited so the most correct answers won a prize. All daft but quite fun at the time and more fun that standing around poking each others car tyres and discussing oil filters.

Don't know if that kind of thing goes on any more. I imagine that nowadays you would get arrested or attacked by hoodies. Ah how times have changed!

Jo, we do have London ones (normally in Watford area as it's where all the motorways intersect!)

Where are you from?
I'll certainly keep my eyes open for the next one..

I'm from Central England, so where the rest of the Motoways meet. ;)
I would be nice to get a couple of photos and enjoy a day out with a group of owners.

Perhaps with some planning we could do one in the summer, when we can really enjoy our cars.:)

I'm in Wetherby, so Chatsworth would be great for me and a bit more central than Whitby (although would be great there too).

Anyone going to be so bold as to suggest some dates?

Go on then I will.... 18th May, 1st June, 22nd June?

I'll open a new thread in the regional section for replies.
