I'm afraid you are definitely a candidate for the "looney bin" ... the one with the red tiled floor!

dude, thats just the first sign!!! In another forum I was posting picts of handbacks and picknick baskets that I was colormatching to eismer blue, paprika red, island grey.... it got so bad they removed it!!!

Overall, for the two cars that I have, here's how bad its gotten:

for the "monterey Mist" green thunderbird I:
1) went to monterey, CA to pick up sand, wood and plant samples (supposedly the palette that the car was based upon) to sort out possible dash embelishments...
2) got PERSCRIPTION sunglass that tint blue-green in the sun to match the car!
3) have assorted gear(camera bags, luggage bags, picnic towels, blankets etc) that match the green exterior or grey interior of the car
4) Aquired "porthole" style sunglass from a friend which kinda resembles the porthole on the hardtop of the car
5) the car has a "makeup bag" in the trunk (quickdetailer, rim brush, rags, etc) to keep her looking her best.
6)when the top is down and I have baggage stuffed into the storage area behind the seat, I make sure that there is a car-colored coordinated blanket that covers the the items in the rear shelf. its actually a great passive security effort that just distracts from whats stored underneath and give the car this old fashion look like when car interiors looked like house furniture.
7) Basically, anything that I get that will involve the car must fit its palette... even the emergency bag!!!

:D

For the wheat beige/cornsilk Eos (straight 2.ot model, not sport or lux pack) so far I

1) ordered the aluminum trim to replace the graphite on the dash.
2) ordered the polar wood trim for the ash tray area to match the "warmth" of the car.
3) got the avic D3 navigation.stereo so that it can match the interior lighting scheme of the car!!!
4) got the storage drawer for under the passenger seat to store, most likely, color coordinated items like hats and scarfs!! ;P
5) Already have a blanket for the car that matches its cornsilkiness!
6)c ar already has a "makeup bag" in the trunk!
7) more to come!!

yeah... its nuts!!

OOOHHHH! That's exactly what I'm on the lookout for at the moment. My girls complain lots in the back and they are currently using an orange :)eek: ) cellular blanket from the cot of the younger one! I am off out to the shops today to look for a 'cornsillk' beige blanket! Perhaps VW need to expand their accessories range now they have a convertible in it!

Yew Go gurlfriend... uh... ahem... what i mean is that if you go to Ikea and look in the blanket section you will find a series of rolled up blakets called INEZ... 51" x 67"... Ikea has several blankets under the INEZ name, so there ar eal of the numbers I can find on the label...

AA-199316-1

000.924.72 is right under the bar code along with the number 12586

there is a large stickered number that is either 9090 or 0606... depending on orientation...

this one is like $16.00 I think...

if you have friends that you need to impress, here's the other end of the scale: ralph lauren!!!
