Listed in the Eos Australia merchandising range is a rally jacket, retailing at $105. I live in the UK but have a wish to try an order this jacket, unfortunately the company handling such sales have replied advising

Unfortunately our system does not have the capabilities for overseas freight.

In the UK they do a blouse type jacket, not what I am seeking but it also only has the GTi logo on, I have an Eos on order, epect to take delivery mid this month, hence my interest.

I am very saddened by this and hope our Eos owner colleagues in Australia do not expereinced such negativity.

Is there anyone in Australia from this forum who could purchase the jacket for you and send it over if you pay the postage and packaging? Worth a shot putting it under the Australia section?

Many thanks for the offer of assistance, this would however cause problems re getting money to you etc. If in passing you could sound out your "friendly" local Vdub dealer for me, if they would accept my ordering from them by email, indeed fax from me and on my mastercard, then I could do it that way, but one dealer I contacted yesterday wanted $150 for insurance and postage, and then the price of the jacket, the jacket is only listed at $105.

I am also interested in some of the items in the Eos range offered by VW Australia:

Unfortunately, the nearest responsive VW dealer is 100+ miles from here and it is unlikely I will be visiting them until my partner's car is delivered next month. I will contact them and see if they are carrying any of these products or if they can get them in for me as I will not buy them without seeing them first.
