Very nice. White is a real pain to keep clean tho'.

I saw one of the old VW Harlequins the other day. I wonder what the Eos would look like in that livery !!

Not so sure the contrast between roof and body is my taste, but those wheels are absolutely gorgeous. Now how to persuade the wife I need them!!!

Looks ok but the white windscreen pillars look out of place to me. I wonder what they would look like black as in the rear ones. I suppose I could just photoshop black ones and make up my mind.

Think the idea is it looks like an open car or a canvas-roofed convertible from a distance. That's why they've left the windscreen pillars white.

Apparently there are people out there who don't like the fact their Eos looks like a closed coupe when the roof is up. They've spent all that money on a convertible and they want their neighbours to KNOW they've got a convertible!

A collegue at work has an A3 Quattro (I think) in White and it does look good. It seems odd that most vehicles no longer come in White (in the UK) as this used to be a standard colour. Back in '84 all of our company cars were white and that put me off for life.

I disagree. In my view it's a cost cutting exercise. The roof is made separately from the car and it is very easy to put a black roof on a white car. Painting the front pillars will be time consuming and difficult.

Actually I was quoting what I read in a car mag.. But maybe they're wrong!

I guess in reality we'll never know for sure as it's not coming to the UK which is a great shame because I think it would sell. I would buy it if it was available when I come to replace mine.

Also soon to be sold in showrooms is a new aerodynamic enhancement kit for the Eos. A spokesman for VW told Auto Express: “We plan to release this in the UK, although it’s likely to be a special order item from our retailers.

“No prices have been released yet, but we would expect the complete kit to cost around £1,500.
I wonder what the Aero enhancements are? Body kit?
